Conflict of interest, libertine evening: Bruno Julliard, assistant to Hidalgo, and her husband at the heart of a scandal

“The new scandal that shakes the town hall of Paris”, title Challenges, which reveals the information. Bruno Julliard, number 2 of Anne Hidalgo, is at the heart of a conflict of interest. The former president of Unef, who became 1st PS deputy in charge of Culture, “has been married, since July, to Paul Le Goff, who has just been hired by the company Noctis, a Parisian nightlife empire”, which offers exceptional places for rent, located in the heart of the capital, such as in the Champs Élysées, Eiffel Tower or Montparnasse districts, indicates the economic magazine. “However, it is Bruno Julliard who, at the town hall, awards the concessions for many party venues available in the Parisian public space.”

Contacted by Challenges, Paul Le Goff affirms that “everything is in order”, than his case “has been submitted to the High Authority for Transparencye". He even adds: “I have to find a job”. Then he assures: "I absolutely deny that Noctis hired me in exchange for Bruno's allocation of the Showcase". According to opponents of the municipal team, an agreement would have been made between Bruno Julliard and Laurent de Gourcuff, the founding boss of Noctis. "It's a fact: last August, at the same time Noctis hired Paul le Goff, the company won the tender for the management of the space located under the abutment of Pont Alexandre III, where until the the Showcase, a nightclub that has delighted trendy young Parisians for years”, writes the economic magazine.

In this “ephemeral cultural center”, renamed Le Génie d'Alex, was notably organised, in October, “a very special evening, modestly qualified as naturist, then as libertine, but which was rather in line with the hardest and craziest Berlin SM evenings”, precise Challenges, which recalls that Bruno Julliard was “on the initiative, a year and a half ago, of the brutal rejection of Marcel Campion and his showmen”, and “Laurent de Gourcuff (…) has just recovered the terrace of the former Virgin Megastore building 'the highest on the Champs-Elysées'”. Opposition elected officials will discuss this scandal at the next Paris Council meeting.
