Non-Jewish passengers and crew are released on 11 September, and the next day, the three empty planes, the DC-8-53 HB-IDD called “ Nidwalden “, the Vickers Super VC-10 BOAC's G-ASGN and the Boeing 707 N8715T of the TWA, are blown up by the kidnappers in front of the international press.

Too bad that this information was released only on October 7, while the letter from the BNCVA is from October 3. I would have suggested, had I had the information earlier, to start a petition in support of the October 3 letter.
