The GG's opinion: The murder of Sarah Halimi has an anti-Semitic character – 14/07

Last April, Sarah Halimi, a 65-year-old Jewish woman was found dead, defenestrated from her apartment. The affair did not make much noise because of the electoral campaigns, but it aroused the anger of the Jewish community. Indeed, the Muslim neighbor of the victim was indicted for “intentional homicide”, but the anti-Semitic qualification was not retained. Witnesses, however, claimed to have heard the assassin shout “Allahu Akbar” while he was torturing Sarah Halimi. For Gilles-William Goldnadel, it is indeed an anti-Semitic crime, and that once again justice minimizes the facts.
