The BNVCA strongly condemns the attempted arson of the Epinay Sur Seine synagogue, 41 rue de Paris, committed on the night of June 24, 2017 by an individual in his fifties who deliberately set fire to the bins placed in front of the door of the place of worship. According to our informant, the door would have been burnt as well as the premises adjoining the synagogue.
The BNVCA salutes the action of the police who arrested in flagrante delicto the perpetrator of this anti-Semitic crime.
The BNVCA, which plans to become a civil party, has instructed its counsel Sabine Tourjman to file a complaint against the perpetrator.
Even if the damage would not be substantial, we consider the serious act and the guilty intention.
